Summary: A poem of trials
Just when I thought it was finally over,
look what showed up around the corner…
another hill to climb
another mile to go
but wait there’s more
–
Oh Dear Lord my spirit is willing
but my flesh is another thing…
Fill me up till I’m overflowin’,
Oh Lord I need your strength,
–
Don’t get me wrong; I don’t mean to complain…
but Lord I am tired of all of this rain..
never ceasing, always pouring
but wait there’s more
–
Oh Dear Lord my spirit is willing
but my flesh is another thing…
fill me up till I’m overflowin’,
Oh Lord I know I need your strength,
–
I know you got me on the path worth travelin’,
yet it is so easy to forget this is your plan…
your mercy…your love…
but wait there’s more
–
Oh Dear Lord my spirit is willing
but my flesh is another thing…
Fill me up till I’m overflowin’,
Oh Lord I need your strength.
